libgmime2.6-cil software package provides CLI binding for the GMime library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgmime2.6-cil
libgmime2.6-cil is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgmime2.6-cil package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgmime2.6-cil *
You will get with libgmime2.6-cil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
